Where Do NFL Teams Stay? The Team Hotel in All 30 Cities

Visiting teams skip Glendale, where the stadium actually is, and set up downtown at the Westin instead. It’s a short walk from the convention center, so expect suits during the week and jerseys on game weekends. The heated Lapis Terrace pool looks out over downtown, and Jacy and Dakota does farm-to-table food. Most reports point here, though a few put teams at the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix.

The St. Regis is the hotel this guide has always named for Atlanta, and if you’re going to the game, it’s the one you’d want anyway. Atlas, the restaurant, has a Michelin star and walls hung with 20th-century modern art, and the 40,000-square-foot Pool Piazza is the place to be on a hot September Saturday. The butlers will unpack and press your clothes. Newer reports, though, put teams downtown at the Ritz-Carlton or the Omni, closer to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

A glass tower on the Harbor East waterfront, and the one Baltimore pick every report we found agrees on. Go up to the 29th floor for The Bygone, a 1920s-style restaurant and bar looking out over the Inner Harbor, then work it off in the 10,000-square-foot spa, which has an ice fountain.

Every report lists the downtown Westin, which is a little surprising once you know it has about 115 rooms for a travel party of 175 to 220. Some teams may split across two hotels. If you’re staying, the move is weekend brunch at Patina 250, where the walls are hung with work by Buffalo artists.

An 18-story Ritz in Uptown, and one of the shortest trips to a stadium in the league. The roof is planted with 18,000 sedum plants and a chef’s garden that ends up in the cocktails at K Lounge, and the spa up top has a salt room. Most reports name it; a few say the Omni Charlotte, also Uptown.

The JW lives in a 1914 Daniel Burnham building that used to be a bank, and the domed ballroom still has its original ceiling. That makes it one of the better-looking team hotels on this list, and it’s right in the Loop. Most reports name it, though a few put teams at the Westin River North.

If you only see one lobby on this list, make it this one. The Netherland Plaza opened in 1931, it’s a National Historic Landmark, and the French Art Deco inside is the real thing, down to a two-story Hall of Mirrors ballroom. Book dinner at Orchids at Palm Court. With 561 rooms there’s space for a whole team; most reports point here, a few to the Westin Cincinnati.

The Ritz is the only true luxury hotel in downtown Cleveland, so it’s no surprise this is where visiting teams tend to end up. It sits right on top of Tower City, steps from the shops and the train. Book a Club room: the lounge puts out food five times a day, right through to desserts and cordials after the final whistle. Most reports name it as the team hotel, though a few put teams at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown instead.

The Cowboys play in Arlington, but visiting teams still sleep in downtown Dallas, and the Omni is the name every report gives. It has 1,001 rooms and a skybridge to the convention center, which handles a 200-person travel party without blinking. The heated infinity pool on the Uptown Terrace is open all year, which in Dallas matters even in December.

A 239-room Four Seasons downtown. Eat at EDGE, a steakhouse that cooks Colorado beef over a wood-burning grill, then take a drink out to Level 3 Bar by the rooftop pool. Most reports name it; a few say the Ritz-Carlton Denver.

When the Book Cadillac opened in 1924, it was the tallest hotel in the world. It sat empty for almost 20 years before a $180 million rebuild brought it back as a Westin in 2008. Dinner is at ROAST, Michael Symon’s steakhouse. Every report we found points here.

The one sure thing in the league. Almost every visiting team sleeps in Appleton, 30 miles from Lambeau, because nothing closer can take them. The hotel’s director of sales told The Business News in 2025 that they get “all but one, maybe two” teams a year. Teams take 160 to 250 rooms, a wing of their own and a ballroom wired with TVs, and some ask for cheese curds.

A 30-story tower next to Discovery Green, with a pool ringed by live oaks and palm trees. Bayou & Bottle, the bar, pours more than 200 whiskies and has a Topgolf Swing Suite, a dangerous combination the night before a game. Most reports name it; others say the JW Marriott Houston Downtown, and the Cowboys stayed out by the Galleria in 2018.

The only team hotel on this list where you can get to the stadium without going outside: a climate-controlled skywalk runs to the convention center and on to Lucas Oil. If you’re going to a Colts game in December, that alone is the reason to book it. Grab a pregame drink at High Velocity, the sports bar. This is the hotel the guide has always named, though some reports say teams use the Conrad.

A 951-room Hyatt on the St. Johns River, with a heated pool up on the 19th floor that’s the biggest rooftop pool downtown. Every report we found names it. We used to list the Omni here, but that hotel became the Marriott Jacksonville Downtown in 2022.

A big Westin with an indoor waterfall and a bridge straight into the Crown Center shops and restaurants, so you can do dinner without stepping outside in a Kansas City January. Every report we found points here.

Out in Henderson, on the lake, and a long way from the Strip, which is exactly why a team might want it. The Kansas City Star reported the Chiefs stayed here before Super Bowl LVIII. For regular-season games we only have fan sightings, and other reports name Strip hotels. If you go, get a table at Marssa Steak and Sushi for the lake and mountain views.

The Ritz takes floors 22 to 26 of the L.A. Live tower downtown. Sendero, on 24, does food inspired by the Pan-American Highway, and the heated pool and rooftop bar are up on 26. Every report we found names it.

A downtown tower with an NBA-approved basketball court in a 19th-floor entertainment complex, which is exactly the kind of thing a football team notices. If you’re staying, pack sneakers. Every report we found points here.

The newest luxury hotel in town, opened in 2022, with indoor and outdoor pools and Mara, a Mediterranean restaurant from James Beard winner Gavin Kaysen. It’s the hotel this guide has always named, but other reports put teams at the Hilton or the Loews Minneapolis.

Across from the Public Garden on Boylston Street, with The Bristol, a second-floor lounge looking out over the park. It’s a long ride to Foxborough, though, and reports scatter: one fan-trip company says the Renaissance at Patriot Place, right next to the stadium, and the Seahawks stayed in downtown Providence in 2024.

The Ritz lives in the old Maison Blanche department store, a Beaux Arts building from 1906 that also housed a radio station, at the edge of the French Quarter. The spa runs to 25,000 square feet. Every report we found names it.

The least certain city on the list. MetLife Stadium is in New Jersey, and most reports put visiting teams there too: fans usually point to the Westin Jersey City Newport, and the Cowboys used the Hilton Short Hills in 2018. We’ve kept the two Manhattan hotels this guide has always named. At the Ritz NoMad, go up to Nubeluz, José Andrés’s bar on the 50th floor.

The other Manhattan pick. Have a drink at the King Cole Bar, under Maxfield Parrish’s 1906 mural. The Bloody Mary was introduced there in 1934, when it was called the Red Snapper.

The hotel takes the top floors of the 60-story Comcast Technology Center, and the lobby is up on 60, so the view hits before you’ve checked in. Jean-Georges is on 59 and JG SkyHigh on 60. Most reports name it; a few say the Logan.

A Market Street Four Seasons whose guests get the run of the three-floor Equinox Sports Club in the same building, 82-foot pool included. The 49ers play in Santa Clara, so it’s about an hour on the bus, the longest ride on this list. Most reports name it; a few say the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.

A 457-room Hyatt on Pine Street with a Ruth’s Chris off the lobby. It’s the hotel this guide has always named, but we couldn’t find a solid source for it, and other reports point to the Fairmont Olympic and the Hyatt Regency Seattle.
